Shenyang Imperial Palace

Shenyang Imperial Palace, which is also known as Mukden Palace, is located in center of the city Shenyang. Covered an area of more than 60,000 square meters, it is one of the exciting best-preserved imperial Palace-like constructions, only after the Forbidden City in Beijing.
The whole structure has over 90 buildings and 300 rooms. It was first built in 1625 during the late Ming Dynasty, lasted for 12 years, the grand project was completed in 1637, in the early Qing Dynasty. The Palace was built to resemble the Forbidden City in Beijing. However, the palace also exhibits hints of Manchurian and Tibetan styles.
During the Ming Dynasty, it was the gorges imperial palace and the official residence of the Emperor. However, after the Qing Dynasty replaced the Ming Dynasty in 1644 in Beijing, this palace lost its status and became a regional palace.

Nanjing imperial palace, also known as the Ming Dynasty Palace or Nanjing Forbidden City, is the imperial palace of the capital of the Ming dynasty.
It took more than 20 years to build, covering an area of more than 1,025 thousand square meters. Moreover, it is the most significant palace group in the middle ages, and is the "No. 1 palace in the world". This China Palace as the best one of the imperial palace in ancient China, it has been inherited by the imperial palace in Beijing and as the blueprint for the imperial palace in Beijing.
From the year of 1366, people start to build the Nanjing imperial palace and completed until of 1392. This China Palace as the imperial palace of the Ming dynasty, for 54 years. Until the 1421 year, the Ming emperormoved to Beijing and ordered the royal family garrisoned it.

The utterly imperial palace located in the east of Nanjing, with a series of buildings designed to highlight the "sacred" imperial power as the content.  The highest central area agencies as the core region of Ming dynasty is also the core of Ming Dynasty Palace. In the early Ming dynasty, the pivotal role of Nanjing city was to serve as the core area of the country's highest administrative body.
